I design and build web products end-to-end — from research and wireframes to the production database they run on.
Selected work
Three projects, in order of what they prove: a live commercial product I ran alone, a graduation project that won a distinction for its technical decisions, and the design work behind a marketplace that changed direction mid-build.
Subscription streaming platform
A commercial subscription video service — catalog, payments, adaptive player, live channels, and a tiered admin panel. I designed it, built it, deployed it, and answered for it when it broke.
My role: all of it, on a three-engineer team. Product design, Next.js front-end, Django/DRF backend, payments and promotions, revenue analytics, Docker deployment, database tuning, backups, monitoring, incident response.

A crowdsourced grocery price comparison app with an allergen check that never lets the language model decide whether food is safe.
My role: team project, four of us — research, product design, PWA front-end, AppWrite backend and serverless functions.

Biliyo
A local marketplace that changed scope mid-build, from second-hand only to new-and-used, without rebuilding its information architecture.
My role: product design — research, IA, flows, usability iteration, and the design system the engineers picked up on their own.

Design
Research, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems that survive contact with a real codebase.
The Biliyo design system was adopted by the engineering team without anyone asking them to.
Build
Next.js and React front-ends on Django/DRF and PostgreSQL. Payments, auth, admin, analytics.
A subscription platform serving ~10k active users, built with a three-engineer team and live today.
Run
Containerised deployment, encrypted backups, monitoring, query tuning, and the on-call that follows.
I diagnosed a production object-storage incident and shipped a fail-safe gate so it could not happen twice.
Recognition
Outside validation, kept short — a distinction, a selection, and two invitations to speak.

About
Before I designed interfaces I was pulling network cable across five residential complexes — MikroTik configs, VLANs, CCTV, access control, dozens of sites. That is why deployment does not intimidate me, and why a production incident is a problem to be traced rather than a crisis.
